AUSTIN, Texas — Dozens of members of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America-Texas Chapter (ACCA-Texas) converged on the Texas State Capitol on March 25, 2003 for the Texas Air Conditioning Contractors Association Day, as resolved by the Senate of the state of Texas, 78th Legislature.

According to Todd McAllister, ACCA-Texas executive director, “The resolution highlighted the day for the largest voice of the HVACR industry in Texas and the nation, and stated that ACCA-Texas has for more than 20 years been a symbol of quality in the Texas air conditioning industry.”

Once the festivities concluded, the ACCA-Texas contractors visited their respective representatives and senators to voice support and concerns about a number of bills that have been filed that affect the HVACR community in Texas.
