ARLINGTON, VA — The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) recently introduced two programs designed to help members grow their businesses and improve service and performance. ACCA has revamped and reintroduced its Quality College. The first of the new two-day workshops will be held in San Antonio, TX, on Oct. 25-26, 2002, and cosponsored by the San Antonio chapter of ACCA.

The ACCA Quality College has been revised and expanded by HVACR management experts Mike Callahan and Al Roach, who were among the developers of the original program. They will serve as instructors of the new workshop series.

ACCA has also introduced a new member benefit called ACCA Data-Tools™. The program is a series of benchmarking surveys and studies that contractors can use to compare their business performance to that of other contracting firms of similar size and type.

A publication entitled 2002 Contractor Health Insurance Benefits Review is the first resource offered through the ACCA DataTools™ program. ACCA says it will be published on Oct. 7, 2002, and will provide data and analysis information provided by nearly 300 contracting businesses, with comparisons between con-tractors of similar size as well as geographic regions.
