Small Kansas Contractor Looks For Ways To Improve Business
Watters was recently featured in Dealer Access, the Arcoaire dealer newsletter. He was asked what he has been trying to do to improve his business. He pointed out that he just signed up to participate in the Arcoaire financing program and the HELP® extended warranty program.
“I believe in extended warranties,” Watters said. “I’m just getting set up for the HELP extended warranty program. I believe HELP will be a big benefit to me and my customers.
“With the five-year parts warranty, the factory will replace a covered part, but does not cover labor. If it’s a new installation, I don’t feel right billing the customer for a little callback. I don’t feel they should have to pay for that. Under the HELP contract, I’ll be able to get paid for labor on warranty work without having to bill the customer.”
