The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) elected Mike Olinger to its board of directors during the association’s 113th annual convention at the Boca Raton Resort & Club in Boca Raton, FL.

Olinger is president and ceo of J.H. Kelley, LLC, a general industrial mechanical contractor specializing in process industries headquartered in Longview, WA. J.H. Kelley has been in business since 1923 and has other offices around the western United States.

At the national level, Olinger serves on MCAA’s education committee and on the Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI) Committee. Olinger is also active in a variety of youth and charitable organizations and is a member of many local business associations.

Also during the annual convention, the W.A. Botting Company, located in Woodinville, WA, was presented with a third place safety award. The safety awards are based on contractor participation in a Safety Statistics and Awards Program, a key element of MCAA’s Safety Excellence Initiative. The awards are based on a company’s lost work days incidence rates in five workhour categories. The W.A. Botting Company won the award in the 100,000 – 299,999 hours category.
