The Model ASG analog signal generator produces a 0- to 10-vdc signal in increments of 1 V, or a 4- to 20-mA signal in increments of 2 mA, says the manufacturer. According to the company, the unit offers a ramp-interval timing function, allowing users to define maximum and minimum values, while an LED bar graph indicates the analog signal level. The unit also features an auto shut-off timer from 2 to 20 min, with 2-min increments and a 6-min default setting, says the manufacturer. The company says the signal generator’s operating temperature is from 32 degrees to 122 degrees F (0 degrees to 50 degrees C).The Model ASG is suitable for troubleshooting transmitters, transducers, motors, and actuators, and comes complete with 6-ft (1.8-m) leads, alligator clips, a protective carrying case, and an instruction manual.
