Solidyne: CURRENT TRANSDUCER
January 30, 2002
A current transducer, the CT-100, has a split core and clamp-on construction; thus, disconnecting the existing wires to sense current is not necessary. Other features of the transducer include 4-20-mA signal output, reverse voltage protection, current output limited to 23 mA for over range, load current (LED) strength indicator, and ±1% accuracy for the operating temperature and voltage range. The unit works from 12 vdc/ac up to 35 vdc/ac main supply, is designed for 24-vac operation with no external dc power supply, and measures 1 by 1 by 2-1/4 in.
