WAUWATOSA, WI — Jeffrey K. Conner, the president of Grumman/Butkus Associates, recently completed the Tanqueray Heartland AIDSRide 520 bike ride to raise money for the fight against AIDS. The bike ride from St. Paul, MN to Chicago, IL featured 1,530 riders and raised $5.8 million.

“The ride originally started out as a personal challenge,” said Conner. “Once I made the commitment to raise the money needed to participate and began training for the ride, it took on much more meaning. I was doing something to help others while still challenging myself. “This was truly one of the greatest experiences of my life.”

Pallotta Teamworks is the company that organized and ran the event. Grumman/Butkus Associates is an engineering consulting firm with offices in Wauwatosa and Madison, WI and Evanston, IL.
