The company has introduced a software program called the Performance Pay System™ (PPS), which allows air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing contractors to measure and compensate field employees for speed, accuracy, and performance, increasing company profits and efficiency. A technician’s pay is determined by comparing the actual time for the repair to the expected time, as established by the CAP™ database. The company says the program is attractive to employees because it rewards them for the speed, accuracy, and quality of their work.
