VERNON, Conn. — For the second year in a row, area trade school students have benefited from the generosity of the volunteers and participants of New England Mechanical Services Inc. (NEMSI’s) annual employee benefit golf tournament.

The NEMSI Student Award Program is directed at trade school juniors and seniors from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island who are pursuing careers in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or sheet metal trades. This year’s recipients included HVAC and electrical students from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical School (Easton, Mass.), Oliver Wolcott Vocational Technical School (Torrington, Conn.), E.C. Goodwin Vocational Technical School (New Britain, Conn.), Emmett O’Brian Vocational Technical School (Ansonia, Conn.), Vinal Vocational Technical School (Middletown, Conn.), and Windham Vocational Technical School (Willimantic, Conn.).
