The Packaged Refrigeration System (PRS) consists of a condensing unit and evaporator coil in one package. The system is offered as a package with a Master-Bilt walk-in cooler or freezer or can be mounted in the top of a walk-in cooler or freezer by this manufacturer. Additionally, the evaporator section mounts flush in a standard 4-in. thick ceiling panel. The company says that a standard condensate evaporator pan eliminates the need for a drain line, and most models come with a 26-inch power cord. The refrigeration system’s electronic controls are preset for typical applications (-10 degrees F for freezers and 35 degrees for coolers), says the company. Each system is fully assembled, evacuated, charged, run tested, and wired at the factory.
