FALLS CHURCH, VA — The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry (UA) has donated $15,000 to the Imran Khan Scholarship Fund established by the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC).

Imran Khan is the son of the late Norma Khan, a PHCC staff member who was a victim of the Sept. 11 plane crash into the Pentagon. The fund, which now totals $120,000, was established in memory of Norma Khan’s service to PHCC and the industry.

UA General President Martin Maddaloni presented the $15,000 check to UAC co-chair Malcolm Sweet at the Union Affiliated Contractors’ (UAC) recent Unity Meeting in Hollywood, FL. Maddaloni expressed his appreciation for the support Ms. Khan provided as a key staff contact between the UA and the UAC/PHCC.
