ROCKVILLE, Md. - Rabe Environmental Systems Inc., Erie, Pa., has been certified as a Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) Star.

Rabe Environmental had to prove that it is an experienced service contractor that employs the best-trained and most-qualified workforce, including UA Star-certified technicians; like all MSCA Stars, it "maintains a superior safety record, offers outstanding customer service, and focuses on continuing education and training for all employees," the association said. These qualifications are confirmed and verified by MSCA and National Inspection, Testing and Certification (NITC), an accredited certifying body.

To qualify for MSCA Star status, a contractor must complete a detailed application and provide evidence that it meets or exceeds a set of stringent standards. Rabe Environmental's addition brings the total number of MSCA Stars to 58.
