Cooper Instrument Corp.: PIPE CLAMP PROBE
The company has introduced a pipe clamp probe, Model 4005. This easy-to-use probe provides fast and accurate temperature measurements of pipe surfaces up to 1 3/8-in. dia, the company says. A spring-loaded handle helps ensure constant pressure to the pipe, and the probe has a temperature range of -20¿ to 300¿F (-29¿ to 149¿C), says the manufacturer. The probe is available in a thermistor configuration that only works with the company’s thermistor units.
