  • United Technologies Corp. (Hartford, CT) announced that Jonathan W. Ayers, president of its Carrier unit, resigned Oct. 11. The company has named Geraud Darnis, president of UTC’s power group, to succeed Ayers.
  • John H. Ferguson has been appointed as group vice president North American Compressor Group of Tecumseh Products Co. (Tecumseh, MI).
  • The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) appointed Nancy McNabb as regional manager, building code, central field office.
  • Sika Industry (Madison Height, MI) has appointed James Connery to Industrial Group area manager and Barry Kutch to vice president for the Industrial Business Unit.
