Chil-Con brand shell and tube condensers incorporate proprietary Chil-Flux enhanced-surface copper tubes for maximum heat transfer capability, says the company. Features of the condensers include: spirally augmented surface tubes for maximum efficiency; removable heads for tube cleaning; and straight-through tube construction, the company says. The units are available in sizes from 5 to 500 nominal tons of refrigeration. Working pressures are 125 psig tube side and 350 psig shell side.
