The DM600 “Pistol” digital multimeter has a standard, open-fork current clip, which helps make quick checks of amperage draw — up to 400-A ac. The current clip is removable so that a barrel probe can be inserted into the muzzle for voltage readings and other measurements. The user can view both the test point and the measurement value at the same time, says the manufacturer. For hands-free measurement taking, the belt-clip holster can be converted to a freestanding tripod. The digital display features large numbers for easy reading and a back light for reading in low-light environments. The digital multimeter comes with test leads, jaw attachment, freestanding holster, battery, and manual.
