FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors — National Association (PHCC), in conjunction with the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors of Nevada, held the National Plumbing Apprentice Contest recently in Las Vegas, NV.

Apprentices from across the country competed in events to showcase their technical abilities. Competitors were required to rough in water supply and drain lines, and install a variety of fixtures over an eight-hour period.

This year’s top contestants were: first place, Tim Maez (Della Mora Plumbing in California); second place, Curtis Osborne (W.J. Borghoff Plumbing in Nevada); and third place, Mitch Brower (William R. Nash in Florida).
