These high-pressure steam traps include Models DM160 and DM320 for service with differential pressures up to 2,000 psi. They feature forged Chrome-Moly bodies and all stainless steel bodies for long life and reliable operation, says the manufacturer. The control element is comprised of just one moving part and is not prone to the dirt buildup problems associated with bimetallic trap designs, the company says. Available in 1/2-, 3/4-, and 1-in. sizes, the units are offered with threaded, socket weld, butt weld, or raised face flanged ends. Richards Industries, Bestobell Steam Trap Division, 3170 Wasson Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45209; 800-543-7311 or 513-533-5600; 513-871-0105(fax); steam@richardsind.com (e-mail).
