WINNIPEG, MB, Canada — Raymond Aubertin, a steam fitter by trade and an instructor at Red River College in Manitoba, passed away at the Health Sciences Center here on July 14, 2001.

Mr. Aubertin was born on June 22, 1933, at Rainy River, ON. He grew up in Winnipeg and married Gwen (Morris), his wife of 47 years. During this last year, he came out of retirement to assist teaching the gas fitter course and classes at Red River. Friends and associates called him “a very dedicated instructor,” stating, “He had a strong devotion to assisting young technicians in developing their careers.”

Mr. Aubertin had many interests and hobbies, including stained glass, stamp collecting, reading, and traveling. According to his family, his fondest hours were spent with his grandchildren.
