BELEN, NM — Construction Data will launch its “HVAC Design Series” seminars for contractors. The first class is scheduled for Nov. 30-Dec. 1 in Houston, TX. It will be hosted by Century A/C Supply at its training center.

The goal of the course is to provide information to help residential contractors design a residential heating and cooling system, including simplifying heat loss and gain calculations; choosing the proper equipment for comfort and efficiency; sizing air-side devices and returns; improving indoor air quality; and saving the contractor and homeowner money.

Author Hank Rutkowsi, P.E., will conduct the course, which will be based on the principles in the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) Manuals J, D, RS, S, and T.
