WASHINGTON, DC — In his first gathering with a business association since taking office, President George W. Bush met with members of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW) and thanked them for their support during his campaign.

In a 30-minute address, Bush outlined his proposals for education reform and tax relief for an NAW leadership group at the Eisenhower Building in the White House Complex. Prior to his remarks, the president was introduced by Bryan Potter, NAW chairman of the board and president of Dallas Wholesale Builders Supply.
