The Model MIR1 mini infrared thermometer is a compact instrument that features a 6:1 distance-to-target ratio, laser sighting for accuracy, 3-digit display of selectable Â°F or Â°C, display hold, and an LCD display backlight, the company says. The unit’s wide temperature range extends from 0Â° to 600Â°F (-20Â° to 315Â°C). Ambient operating temperature is 32Â° to 122Â°F (0Â° to 50Â°C). Accuracy is ±2% of reading or ±4Â°F (±2Â°C), whichever is greater. Resolution is 1Â°C/F. Response time is about half a second, says the company.
