  • Wabtec Corp. (Pittsburgh, PA) has signed a letter of intent to sell two of its Niles, IL-based business units to current management. Vapor Power, a designer and manufacturer of steam generators, and Iron Fireman, a designer and manufacturer of forced-draft combustion units for boilers, will continue to operate in the Niles plant while a new dedicated facility is located in the greater Chicago area, according to Bob Forslund, president of Vapor Power and Iron Fireman.
