NATE, ACCA Work to Test More Techs

ARLINGTON, VA — The advisory council of past Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) presidents has voted to give the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) program their strongest level of support.

The association said that chapters across the country are providing training and testing programs for technicians to become NATE certified. In addition, ACCA National said it is exploring ways to enhance training in order to offer it to technicians in new ways.

Paul Stalknecht, ACCA executive vice president and ceo, said, “We will continue to work closely with our ACCA contractor-member Skip Snyder, who serves as chairman of the NATE board, to find ways to make NATE even stronger.” For more information, visit www. (website).
