Income before taxes declined to $163,042 for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2000 from $281, 459 for the comparable period in fiscal 1999. Net income for the final quarter of fiscal 2000 decreased to $80,089, or $0.01 per share on a diluted basis, versus $142,371, or $0.02 per share on a diluted basis, for the same quarter last year.
