The company has added a new 1-by 11¼4-in. straight-through, stainless steel ammonia relief valve to its 5300 Series. In addition to its stainless body, the valve has a stainless steel piston and Teflon® seat. It can handle a high capacity and installation to outlet piping is quick and easy, the manufacturer says. It is available with standard settings of 150, 250, and 300 psi. Other pressure settings are available. The valves are set and sealed at the factory and furnished stamped with the catalog number, size, pressure-setting capacity, and ASME-UV National Board Symbol of Approval.
