ATP standard disc-style thermistors are for use in applications where low cost and a rugged design are required, says the company. They consist of a stable NTC disc soldered to lead wires. The units are available either coated or uncoated and are manufactured in a variety of resistance values, material curves, and tolerances to suit different applications. Because of their high sensitivity combined with the ability to manufacture parts with close temperature tolerances, thermistors are the sensor of choice for applications from -50° to 150°C, the company says.
