Net sales for Nortek, Inc. (Providence, RI) for the full year 2000 increased 10% from 1999, reaching $2.2 billion. Net earnings in 2000 were $41.6 million, compared with $49.3 million in 1999. Diluted net earnings per share for the year were $3.70, compared to $4.11 for 1999. Diluted net earnings per share reflect amortization of goodwill and other charges of $1.80 per share in 2000 and $1.53 per share in 1999.
York International (York, PA) reported its net income for the fourth quarter of last year at $22.6 million, or $0.59 per share, compared with $14.3 million, or $0.36 per share, for the fourth quarter in 1999.

Tecumseh Products Company (Tecumseh, MI) declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.32 per share, payable on March 30 to shareholders of record of its Class A and Class B common stock as of March 16.
