• The National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) announces the winners of two $1,000 scholarships awarded in the name of the association’s first president, Bob Bates. This year’s scholarship winners are Joe W. Fly of Dallas, TX, and Bonnie Ishimoto of Portland, OR.   • Professional Contractor Association (PCA) announces that member Thomas Bergin, owner of Bergin Brothers (Watertown, WI) has won the $1,500 grand prize in A.O. Smith’s “Find the Oldest Water Heater Contest,” after a routine service call uncovered a 50-gallon water heater manufactured in June of 1948.
