Swivel-Tek® hose consists of a patented swivel fitting attached to a refrigerant-grade hose. The fitting moves 30 degrees from side to side and 360 degrees at the circumference. The design helps eliminate the problems of kinked refrigerant hoses as well as breaks at the crimp, avoiding reduced refrigerant flow and prolonging the life of the hose, the company says. The hose and swivel are both UL approved. The hose is rated for 4,000-psig burst and 800-psig working pressure. Component Assemblies, Inc., 705 S.
