New Ammonia Detection Technology
With its new technology, the sensor is not affected by fluctuating humidity and does not require an additional heater, says the company. Also, the life of the sensor is no longer limited to the ammonia exposure levels, reducing replacement costs, the company says.
Low cross sensitivity helps to prevent false alarms and costly facility shutdowns, says the manufacturer. Operating on a 4-20 mA loop, the unit is available in ranges up to 10,000 ppm and may be connected to a plc.
