MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Ebtron Inc., a South Carolina manufacturer of electronic sensors for hvac airflow control, announced the first shipment of products ordered for the renovation of the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Ebtron was selected over a number of competing firms to provide airflow measurement instrumentation for the first phase of a projected 12-year, $1.1 billion repair program for the 55-year old complex.

The time and costs involved reflect the enormous size of the structure and the need to keep the majority of the building’s occupants in place during construction. H & B Products of Springfield, VA, the Ebtron sales representative for the Washington, DC area, supplied the equipment for the project to Johnson Controls of Alexandria, VA. The project was engineered by HSMM (Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern) of Washington DC. For more information, visit Ebtron’s website at www.EBTRON.com.
