New 50-3170 resin is a thermally conductive epoxy rubber formulation designed for those applications requiring electrical insulation and low stress during cure. The material can be used for bonding sensitive components or for potting of power supplies, coils, and other delicate assemblies. It can be used for encapsulation of electronic packages with low stress requirements, and will not crush during or after cure, the company says. The resin retains its properties and flexibility on long-term aging. Epoxies, Etc., P.O.
