The TruTrack ultrasonic leak detector can be used to detect a variety of leaks, the manufacturer says. It “hears” leaks from refrigerant, vacuum, steam, pressurized gas, dry nitrogen, and others. It can also be used to detect failing solenoids, valves, and bearings. The unit’s ultrasound technology can detect the sound of a leak while eliminating most interfering background noises such as wind, stray gases, and other contaminants, the company says. The detector comes with a padded carrying case, headset, solid contact probe, and flextube.
