New carbon monoxide gas detector monitors CO concentration and helps save energy, the company says. When CO levels become dangerously high, ventilation equipment will cycle on; an alarm or remote indicator also may be activated. Since vent-ilation equipment is required to run only when CO levels rise, energy costs for heating and operating fans are significantly reduced, says the company. The digital readout continuously displays current CO concentrations.
