TORONTO, ON, Canada — From across Canada, manufacturer, agent, and wholesaler members of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) have reached into their pockets to support the association’s fundraising drive for Habitat for Humanity Canada.

According to fundraising committee chair and president of Kindred Industries Case de Jong, “More and more organizations get behind this program every year. The donations we’ve received for the 2000 and 2001 building campaigns bring us to more than $1 million raised since 1994.”

CIPH members will provide products for 75 homes in 2000 and another 75 in 2001. Major corporate sponsors participating in the program include American Standard, the Canadian Hydronics Council, Emco Ltd., IPEX Inc., Kindred Industries, Rheem Canada, and others.

CIPH’s gala fundraiser in support of Habitat for Humanity Canada takes place September 13 at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto.
