March 3, 2009: ISH Educational Program Focuses on Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

FRANKFURT, Germany - ISH Frankfurt 2009, a leading trade fair for building, energy, air conditioning technology and renewable energy, will be held March 10-14, 2009 in Frankfurt, Germany. Some 2,400 manufacturers will be exhibiting in this anniversary year, which marks “50 years of ISH.”

Alongside its comprehensive range of products, the international trade fair offers a high-level educational program. In line with the issues of sustainability and energy efficiency, a large number of special exhibitions, specialist forums, and symposiums will be concerned with questions surrounding the efficient and responsible use of water and energy in buildings.

The ISH Technology and Energy Forum will be presenting future trends, including the opportunities that exist for high-efficiency building services technology. Here there will be discussion of new options for increasing efficiency and for the use of renewable energy in buildings, and systems integration in modern building services engineering.

To provide holistic ways of looking at the energy requirement of buildings, the IKK Building Forum will focus on integrated planning in the fields of HVAC technology as well as on measurement and control technology.
