ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - The Air Movement and Control Association International Inc. (AMCA) convened for its midyear meeting at the newly renovated AMCA headquarters in Arlington Heights, Ill. The meetings were hosted by current AMCA President, Gary Benson of Mechanovent Corp., and AMCA Chairman of the Board, Jo Reinhardt, president of Industrial Louvers Inc. The meeting was attended by the board of directors, AMCA staff and members, guests, and trade journal press. Members were represented from the United States, Canada, Germany, China, and the Netherlands.

This meeting hosted the debut of the new “Corporate Informational Video/DVD.” This video/DVD gives an overview of what AMCA International is, and who the people and companies are that comprise the association. It contains essential information for engineers, contractors, architects, specifiers, universities, and manufacturers who are affiliated with the HVACR industry, said the association. The video/DVD is available through YouTube™ on the home page of the AMCA Website.

Barbara Morrison, AMCA’s executive director, during her executive directors report, said, “The growth of the association, its programs, and the recognition of them in the global community is an indicator of future success for AMCA International.”
