The Apogee® building automation system can now be used to browse BACnet® networks and to better leverage the advantages of integrated systems. The browser is an engineering, configuration, and communication troubleshooting tool that can locate BACnet devices and objects on a network and extract critical information about their identity, operating status, and performance. Insight® Revision 3.7 graphical workstation software provides enhanced capabilities that enable facility managers and systems operating staff to acquire comprehensive information about the state of devices and device communication within a BACnet network. The BACnet object browser features an easy-to-use interface that displays information in three separate panes. This information includes a system tree depicting the BACnet network hierarchy, all the properties and property values of the object selected in the system tree view, and error messages.
