Hughes Named Industrial Sales Manager of M.K. Morse

CANTON, Ohio - The M.K. Morse Co., a manufacturer of professional quality saw blades, has named Kent Hughes as national sales manager of industrial products. Hughes is charged with directing the industrial sales team and positioning the company as a market leader in the industrial sales channel.

Hughes has been in the band saw blade industry for over 20 years. His experience includes band saw blade technical knowledge from welding to selling from both a distributing and manufacturing point of reference.

"I am very pleased to welcome Kent as national sales manager," said Paul Schoellman, vice president of sales. "His unique management style and band saw blade experience make him an excellent choice to lead our efforts in the increasingly competitive industrial sales channel. Kent makes a great addition to the executive leadership at M.K. Morse. We are honored he chose to join our team."

Hughes had spent the past three years as a strategic account manager for the steel service center business and large volume end users at a leading saw blade manufacturer. Previous to that he served as the regional manager in the south central and midwest United States.
