LEWISVILLE, Texas — Service World Expo officials announced that American actor, author, motivational speaker, war hero, and retired U.S. Army soldier, J.R. Martinez, will speak at Service World Expo on “Plugging into Your Superpowers.”

Martinez is compelling and inspirational, enduring severe burns to over 34 percent of his body when his Humvee hit a roadside bomb. While three other soldiers were thrown out of the vehicle going up in flames, Martinez was stuck inside. His fight for survival is why the world stopped to listen.
