LAS VEGAS —Midea described 2016 as a year of execution during a press conference held at the AHR Expo, Monday, Jan. 30. Over the last six to 12 months, the company expanded its customer care center in Miami, Florida, broke ground on a research and development (R&D) center in Louisville, Kentucky, designed a new line of unique products, and increased distribution.

Moving forward to 2017 and beyond, Midea plans to expand on their previous execution efforts. Their main focus is on enhancing the customer service and support department. The company acknowledges service as a key component in creating an at home feeling for their customer. Midea believes that “Whatever form it takes or role it plays, the feeling of home is universally understood, loved, and desired.”

The company invests 4 percent of their revenue into R&D to ensure they are creating the products customer want designed with comfort, efficiency, connectivity, and flexibility in mind. The new R&D center will celebrate its grand opening in just a few months.

The new products introduced at the press conference include: Premier Quattro, Premier Super, Blanc Series, Ultra Series, and the MideaAir app.
