MILWAUKEE — Johnson Controls Inc. recently announced it will be opening seven new Source 1 HVAC Supply Centers in Illinois, Michigan, and Missouri this fall. Source 1 is the exclusive supplier of factory authorized service parts and residential accessories for all Johnson Controls unitary products residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. The company also offers a broad variety of universal HVAC parts, supplies, and accessories from many manufacturers.

Stores will open in Collinsville, Illinois; Sterling Heights, Michigan; St. Louis; Columbia, Missouri; Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Wentzville, Missouri; and Earth City, Missouri.

“We’re thrilled to have these new locations for our customers to get convenient access to HVAC equipment and parts from a team that knows what they need,” said Dave Smithey, vice president of branch operations, Source 1 HVAC Supply Center. “These centers allow contractors to get in, get what they need, and get to the job site, eliminating wait time and improving efficiency and productivity.”

In addition to York, Guardian, and Source 1 products, the new supply centers will offer products from other HVAC manufacturers and a wide array of HVAC test instruments, tools, and supplies — everything from gauges, recovery equipment, and vacuum pumps to tape, filters, and pipe and electrical fittings. The supply centers will give contractors the opportunity to tap into local training programs on York and Guardian equipment as well as HVAC and business fundamentals, like electricity, refrigeration, heating, financial analysis, and sales techniques.

“Through industry experience and training programs, our store teams are experts in HVAC products and know what contractors encounter in the field,” said Smithey.
