SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — MacroAir, a manufacturer of high volume, low speed (HVLS) fans, has opened a European distribution center in Valencia, Spain, to serve its growing base of European distributors. The company said investing in a manufacturing and distribution operation in the European Union (EU) provides a strategic advantage for all its distributors to have immediate access to the entire product line.

MacroAir said that for years its gearless fans have been providing occupant comfort and energy savings for some of the EU’s largest corporations such as Tesco, IKEA, DHL, and many international airport terminals.

“We have been expanding rapidly throughout Europe over the past few years and making our fans readily available in the heart of the EU helps to solidify our growth plan for this part of the world and MacroAir globally,” said Barry Warner, president of MacroAir. “The benefits are significant — lead times are eliminated for customers, freight costs are minimal, and support services are located throughout the EU.”
