LAS VEGAS — Pipe Restoration Technologies LLC, makers of the ePIPE in-place pipe restoration product line, announced that it has been granted its 15th U.S. patent, #9352357, for the ePIPE epoxy coating system. The ePIPE system effectively seals leaks and protects pipes from lead leaching.

“We are providing innovative, cost-effective solutions in response to current issues, such as water conservation and lead in water,” said Pipe Restoration Technologies and ACE DuraFlo® CEO Larry Gillanders. “ePIPE restoration applications save homeowners, businesses, and utility companies money and time, compared to pipe replacements. Our customers also enjoy the benefits of minimal water system downtime, with most properties’ pipe systems coated and rehabilitated in less than one day.”

The company said pipes as small as 1/2 inch in diameter can be restored by sealing leaks in-place using the minimally-invasive ePIPE process. Potable water lines, natural gas lines, HVAC systems, drains, and fire sprinkler pipes in homes, apartments, high-rise hotels, office buildings, skyscrapers, condominiums, and schools can be treated.

ePIPE is approved by NSF for a return to service in as little as 90 minutes.
