SUNNYVALE, Calif. — Trimble recently announced the kickoff of its 2016 Trimble MEP Roadshow Series in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on March 3. The roadshows will continue across North America and will stop in nearly 30 cities.

The complimentary program features live demonstrations and presentations focused on productivity solutions for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contractors and engineers.

This year’s roadshows offer three program options for the MEP contractor:

• Test Drive Trimble: This new event will provide an opportunity for MEP contractors to see the latest Trimble solutions in action. From estimating and detailing solutions to 3-D laser scanning and layout technologies, contractors can gain hands-on experience as they rotate through small group stations focused on test driving the latest advancements for MEP contractors.

• Intro to Layout & 3-D Laser Scanning: These workshops are focused on providing an opportunity for participants to learn first-hand from the Trimble field experts outside of a classroom setting. This workshop will bring together MEP contractors to discuss 3-D laser scanning and field layout technologies for MEP components.

• Trimble Advanced Layout Methods: These sessions are focused on providing participants with an opportunity to learn first-hand from Trimble field experts and provide attendees with the skills to immediately take back to the job site. This workshop is designed for contractors who have experience with field layout technologies and are looking for additional insights to enable increased productivity in the field or better prep data for field point layout.

“We’re excited to kick off our 2016 roadshow series. This year’s roadshows are more ambitious than ever before — we’re bringing Trimble technology to more locations with an expanded and convenient schedule,” said Darcy Shunk, Americas sales manager for Trimble’s MEP Division.
