Description: This expanded line of hazardous-duty room air conditioners includes ATEX (Atmosphères Explosibles)/IECEx (International Electrotechnical Commission Explosive)-certified models for international customers. These air conditioners are specifically designed to cool spaces where volatile, flammable liquids and gases are used within enclosed systems or containers or under extreme temperatures. With a hermetically sealed compressor and a hot-gas bypass valve, the Hazardgard can safely operate in low- and high-ambient conditions between 45° and 130°F. Additionally, the corrosion-resistant coating provides protection against harsh environmental conditions (tested to 6,048 salt-spray hours) while maintaining energy-efficient operation.
