ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. — Refrigerant Service Engineers Society (RSES) awarded the following individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in, and contributions toward, the education of HVACR professionals, Oct. 2, during the 78th RSES Annual Conference in Rosemont, Illinois.

The Distinguished Service Member of the Year Award recognizes a member for outstanding contributions to RSES and the HVACR industry in areas of education, public relations, safety, and society growth. RSES honored Robert Sherman, of the Arrowhead Chapter, Riverside, California, with the award.

The Walter B. Stopera Speaker of the Year Award is given to an individual in recognition of his or her outstanding educational presentations. James Bowman, of the Houston Chapter, received the award, which was sponsored by the RSES Garden State Chapter in Colonia, New Jersey.

The Most Educational Exhibit Award recognizes the exhibitor whose booth/table provides the best learning experience to its viewers. Each exhibit is judged on overall appearance of booth/table, educational value, and exhibitor responsiveness to attendees. The award was presented to RectorSeal Corp. during the HVACR Technology Expo.
