NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Fresh-Aire UV recently celebrated a 10-year partnership anniversary with New Port Richey, Florida-based U.S. Air Conditioning & Heating (USAC). USAC’s directors, Jeff Alloway and Alfred Cox, received the award from Chad House, an IAQ specialist at Fresh-Aire UV’s manufacturer representative, McAllister Associates, located in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

USAC estimates more than 30 percent of its predominantly residential client base has UVC systems representing thousands of installs. The company continues to promote UVC for coil disinfection and the APCO system, a combination UV/carbon filter/photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) systems designed to reduce odor and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). All 25 USAC technicians are trained and certified to sell Fresh-Aire UV system add-ons during service calls. Both companies make it a priority to provide annual on-site seminars presented by Fresh-Aire UV’s Nick Vosburgh, sales manager; Ron Saunders, vice president; and McAllister Associates’ House. Service techs either demonstrate the IAQ equipment or send Fresh-Aire UV YouTube videos to customer email addresses while servicing their unit.

USAC strives to educate customers on Fresh-Aire UV’s benefits to provide them with optimal IAQ. “We see partners like Fresh-Aire UV as a major part of our success in the HVAC business and our goal to have a UVC or Carbon/PCO system in every customer’s HVAC unit,” said Alloway.
