WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Building Technologies Office has released a request for information seeking stakeholder input on the design and construction of tenant spaces that achieve high levels of energy efficiency in commercial buildings.

DOE said it will use the input from this Federal Register notice to inform a study on the design and construction of energy efficient tenant spaces. DOE is seeking information on “high-performance energy efficiency measures,” which means a technology, product, or practice that will result in substantial operational cost savings by reducing energy consumption while maintaining occupant comfort and proper IAQ.

Details on the request for information are available here.

All responses should be submitted following the instructions in the request for information. Responses may be emailed to SeparateSpaces2015BLDG0012@ee.doe.gov.
